I’m Jacynta—the photographer behind Studio 33 Collective.
I live here in Dungog with my little crew, where life is a little slower, the views are a little wider, and the light always seems to hit just right.
Photography has never just been about the pictures for me. It’s about the pause.
The way your baby curls into you. The belly laughs during a tickle fight. The soft chaos of motherhood. I’m drawn to the in-between moments—the ones you can’t stage but never want to forget.
I’ve created Studio 33 as a space where families can breathe. Where kids don’t have to sit still, and parents don’t have to pretend everything’s perfect. Whether we’re in the studio or chasing sunlight through the trees, I’ll guide you gently, then let real life do its thing.
This isn’t about looking a certain way.
It’s about feeling something every time you walk past that photo on your wall.

Tucked away in the hills of Dungog, Studio 33. Collective is my cozy, home-based studio—just over an hour from Newcastle and worth every quiet, scenic minute of the drive.
It’s a calm little space made for newborns, siblings, and small family sessions. The kind of place where you can kick off your shoes, settle into a comfy chair, and just be while I do the rest. Soft music playing, a cuppa in hand, aircon or heating depending on the season—everything’s been thought of so you can relax while your baby is gently photographed.
Most of my maternity and family sessions happen outdoors, chasing golden light in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens, or the Central Coast—but when we’re in the studio, it’s all about intimacy, comfort, and care.
Your baby’s safety is always my top priority. I’m fully trained in newborn handling and safety, with up-to-date immunisations, a valid Working With Children Check, and the kind of attention to cleanliness that lets you breathe easy. Every prop, wrap, and outfit is cleaned and prepped after each session—because peace of mind matters.
When it comes to styling, you don’t need to bring a thing. The studio wardrobe is ready for you: flowing gowns and dresses for mums, simple shirts for dads, sweet outfits for kids, and shelves full of soft wraps, bonnets, headbands, and props for your littlest love.
